Chevron Restarts Venezuelan Oil Shipments
Amid an ongoing oil restriction that US President Donald Trump declared on Saturday was still valid after the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Chevron remains the sole company authorized by Washington to dispatch Venezuelan crude.
Tracking information revealed that Chevron’s loaded carriers had not departed for the United States in recent days because of the US military campaign.
Data from the maritime analytics service TankerTrackingindicated that nearly twelve separate ships transporting Venezuelan fuel and petroleum exited the nation’s waters in the wake of the assault, with their signal devices switched off.
